2-Way and 3-Way Metal Seated


 

Uses:

Metal Clearance butterfly valves are used for high capacity control of water or low pressure steam where minor leakage is permissible. These valves are ideal for mixing, diverting or bypass control in a closed loop system and do not require high seating torques. The advantage is the use of a smaller, more economically sized actuator.

Mating:

For use with 125 or 150 lb. ANSI flanges. Flange gaskets are required.

Rotations:

PDC valves are offered in two rotations. The 0 to 60 degree opening is used when optimum control is required for lineal flow characteristics. The 0 to 90 degree opening is used when the valve is sized based on its maximum capacity and control is not a concern.

3-Way Valve Assemblies for Mixing or Diverting Service

PDC Metal Butterfly Valve Assemblies are ideally suited for 3-way control- blending or diverting. Two PDC valves are mounted on a 125# cast iron tee; one valve complete with power actuator, the second valve controlled through connecting slave linkage.

PDC's 3-Way Assemblies are shipped as a complete unit, assembled, mounted, and fully ready for field installation, requiring only flange gaskets.
